Earthquake in Turkey

The recent earthquake in Turkey has not effected the tourist areas of Turkey. If you are planning a holiday to Turkey or already have one booked, rest assured your holiday is perfectly safe and unaffected.

The earthquake in Turkey occurred at the weekend originated in the 'Van' area of eastern Turkey. On the map you'll see this is near to the Iran and Iraq borders. This is 1000's of miles from the coastal areas and normal tourist areas Antalya, Altinkum, Bodrum and Dalaman.

Flights to the main airports and airports servicing the Turkish holiday resorts have not been effected by the earth quake and all holidays to Turkey are continuing as normal. The foreign office has not updated its advice about travel which means they still regard travelling to Turkey as being completely safe.

Is going on holiday to turkey safe?
Absolutely yes! Obviously an earth quake is a serious event, however the Turkish holiday resorts remain unaffected and as safe as they have always been.
