Airport Closure Information

As snow falls across the UK it is possible that flights may be cancelled or airports closed. Hopefully this won't happen but given today's weather it is very important that you check your flights before you travel.

Our top tips if you are flying today:

1. Make sure you leave LOTS of extra time to get to the airport (hours not minutes)
2. Check the website of the airport you are travelling from for more information before travelling
3. Check the flight status with your airline before travelling
4. Listen to local radio for road closure information
5. Ensure you have travel insurance which covers you in case your are unable to make it to the airport
6. Be safe! 

Also - remember that you can not assume a flight is cancelled and not turn up. You must check with the airline. Of coure only travel if it is safe to do so - but do remember not all insurance companies pay out unless flights are cancelled (or you have an policy which covers you for not being able to get to the airport.
