Disney! When will you tell them...

When booking a Euro Disney Holiday, the first question we ask, is, how do you wish to get there?

Deciding on whether to travel to Euro Disney can, like any other destination, be a bit of a head ache as you need to decide how you are going get there before deciding on which hotel you may like to stay in.

Euro Disney, is not to be confused with Disney World! not only is Disney World in the US of A with only 1 way of getting there, it is 5 times bigger and a whole different experience altogether!

How to decide to get to Euro Disney.
First you need to be aware of where you are in the country. For example, if you are in Liverpool, you don’t really want to travel by Euro Star (which leaves from London!)

1) Euro Star
Euro Star is the posh train that takes you from St Pancras or Ashford, Kent, right in to the heart of Euro Disney itself.
Euro Star is not to be confused with Euro Tunnel- which is a different train, and is used for those who wish to drive themselves.
With the Euro Star, you are in nice comfy seats, in the same way you would any other train that operates in the UK. There is the option to upgrade to first class- which you get a complimentary glass of champers! Also in both standard and first class, children are given activity packs to keep them entertained.

2) Fly.
Of course you can fly to France from most of the UK airports. The 2 airports in France you will be travelling to are either Charles de Gaulle, or Paris Orly. Charles De Gaulle is the main and most central Airport and, depending on traffic, this can take up to 45 mins from the airport by taxi. Not only that if you arrive at Charles de Gaulle, the metro is just outside arrivals, you hop on the 'tube' and you can be in Euro Disney in less than 15 minutes- again this takes you right to the middle of the park!
Orly is another 45 minutes out, but again, it is not difficult for you to get the Euro Disney from Here.

3) Coach.
A company called Leger work with Euro Disney in providing Disney packages. You can book everything with them, from your travel to Euro Disney to your hotel and park tickets.
Travelling by coach is not as daunting as it seems! they provide silver service coaches- where the average coach has 48 seats, these have 36. meaning more legroom and wider seats for all passengers. A trolley dolly service of drinks and snacks and 'in-flight entertainment' where you can watch a film or listen to music via your FREE headsets, are also part of the service.

The coach service will collect from all over the UK! from your nearest bus station, and surround stops on request, and drive you all the way to France across the Ferry.
They collect the Ferry at Dover, and then it is a half hour ferry crossing...passport and boarder controls are sorted for you. Once you arrive in Calais, it is then another 3hours.

This is the same as though you were looking to drive yourself. I believe the Coach would be the better option than to try and drive yourselves. The drivers are experienced and know the roads- not to mention used to driving on the right! but all you have to do is sit and relax!

To Fly only takes an hour or so, depending where you fly from in the UK, (dont forget the delays!) and transfers can be organised for those less adventurous.
