Booming Travel Industry

The Travel industry is booming, however that’s not our opinion, that is in fact the view of industry analysts and consumers.

Travel Franchise Success
New research published by exchange service First Rate shows that the ‘Holiday Confidence Index’ shows a 2% increase since the last index in September. It now stands at 44%.

What does this mean? Good question and something you should be asking yourself if you are thinking of buying a travel franchise

The index is published 3 times a year and is a measure of over 5,000 peoples holiday intentions, frequency of travel, duration, spend and overall confidence. This information is collated and given a score. The higher the score the more confidence the consumer has and the more they are going to spend on travel in the next 12 months.

For anyone looking at investing in a new business such as a travel franchise you need to ensure you have a strong customer base. A travel franchise gives you the opportunity to make money from arguably one of the most buoyant industries in the world.

Over 57% of the people surveyed planned to take an overseas holiday in the next 12 months and over 30% planned two or more trips.

46% of people surveyed said they were planning an overseas holiday because of the weather here in the UK.

In the same week, Mastercard have launched their own research suggesting  that the UK travel sector is growing with year on year growth. An impressive statement given how many other industry sectors are not fairing so well.

What does this mean for The Travel Franchise?
Sales continue to rise month on month within The Travel Franchise. For our travel franchisee’s it means a growing number of customers, a growing number of bookings and a marketing which is easier to enter. With consumer confidence high it means more money being spent, the sales process is simpler and a more profitable business.
