Not Just Travel, an independent travel provider, generously donated £785.01 to Julia's House, a Dorset based charitable organization and the only hospice committed to children with life-limiting conditions who are unlikely to live past the age of 18. The house started out in 1997, and has aided more than a hundred children within the last 15 years. Julia's House provides respite services both in the hospice and in the community. The house aims to optimize and enrich the quality of life for Dorset children and youngsters with special conditions. Julia’s house provide assistance from medical diagnosis to death and beyond for the entire family.
In 2012, it is estimated that it will cost nearly £2.7m to manage to provide vital services. The house relies upon the Dorset community to help raise the remainder of the necessary funds. The donations are beacons of hope to kids and families who deserves to have an inexpensive service with the same high standard of care by ensuring a multi-disciplinary method.
