The Gambia- What do you think?

The Gambia seems a very interesting choice, and is becoming as popular than Tenerife for winter sun.

The Gambia, when it first pops in to your head, suggests poor African country with not much to do other than embark on safaris...
Well, how wrong can you be!

The Gambia has so much more to offer than a safari or twin centre holiday, you will soon see why people tend to go back there time and time again- some cases 3 times a year.

Yes it is true, The Gambia is a developing country; but don’t let that put you off...

It is only a 5 hour flight away from Gatwick AND the same time zone.. bonus no jet lag!

Most of their resorts are along the coast line, with immaculate un-crowded beaches

Excellent choice for families. Plenty of nature parks for them to enjoy. Some hotels are within a nature reserve

It is not part of Europe, so it is cheap to eat and drink out... Excellent value for money

Not forgetting its fantastic winter sun with temperatures ranging between 31-34 Degrees

The Gambia offers a wide range of hotels, from value for money, to luxury boutique hotels, to spa resorts in-between.

Until this year, it has only been possible to book Bed and Breakfast and Half Board accommodation, with only 1 hotel offering a full All Inclusive package, with more being added for 2012 along with 3 hotels offering All Inclusive Light.

The hotels range from 1* - 5* luxury.  Regardless of where you stay, you will have the holiday of a life time, at excellent value for money. The best reason to come and be part of a group of people who go back time and time again.
