British Airways has cancelled all flights from London Heathrow between 1000 and 1700 and all European and domestic flights from London Gatwick between 1000 and 1659.
The airline has made the decision, despite both Gatwick and Heathrow airports remaining open.
Additional snow ploughs have arrived at Gatwick in addition to the existing ones and aim to have them operational later Saturday afternoon.
Easyjet has cancelled all Gatwick flights from 0600 and 1000 and is advising of possible further cancellations and delays to other flights throughout today.
Southampton Airport is closed until at least 1200.
London Stansted Airport is open, but said weather warnings have been issued for the majority of the UK over the next few days.
London City airport is open this morning but some flights are experiencing disruptions.
