This is the biggest and liveliest resort in Bulgaria. The central strip has dozens of Night clubs, live-music bars and restaurants. The Restaurants vary from the standard tourist fare, to most of the normal "foreign" (Chinese, Indian, Mexican etc). There are some very classy, and some doing traditional Bulgarian food.
There are hundreds of small shops selling a wide range of souvenirs including lots of carved wood and very accomplished portrait paintings. Lots sell clothes - both standard and designer labelled, and there are many outlets for handbags and jewelry.
The hotels range from cheap-and-cheerful 3* Self catering, through numerous 4* Halfboard and All Inclusive, to some very classy 5* properties. Most of the better ones have excellent spa and health club facilities. Most are geared up to be family friendly, although it would be wise to make sure you are not right next to an all night bar if you have young ones!
There are also water parks, and several Casinos.
The whole area is low lying coastal plain, so generally reasonably well suited to anyone with walking difficulties.
Overall impression is a very full resort with plenty to do and see, if a bit crowded together.
